Intersafe Excels in Complex Testing Environments

2017 has been a strong growth year for Intersafe, the specialist electrical testing contractor, especially within complex testing environments. Here we review how a flexible approach has benefitted many of our clients

Intersafe are committed to offering delivering a flexible approach to electrical testing, providing a bespoke service well suited to complex environments where extra care and attention significantly reduces the impact and inconvenience on the client.

Education:

Intersafe consults with the site manager to ensure minimal disruption to students, teachers, researchers and other academic staff. This includes, where suitable, offering an out-of-hours testing service at no additional cost.

During 2017, Intersafe completed electrical testing for a wide range of educational establishments including state-funded and private primary schools and secondary schools and numerous further education colleges and universities such as the University of Winchester, University of Brighton and City of Oxford College.

Hotels:

Some hotels choose to conduct 100% electrical testing, others 20% a year. Intersafe works closely with hotel management and chief engineers to minimise disruption to guests, offering flexible service to plan testing at a time to suit your bookings and room access.

This year, Intersafe continued to have a strong presence in the hospitality sector, providing electrical testing for a number of large and prestigious hotels such as Pennyhill Park Hotel, Park Lane, Four Seasons Hampshire and Danesfield House Hotel & Spa, as well as boutique hotels such as The Hari hotel in Belgravia and Mondrian at Sea Containers in Southbank.

Manufacturing:

Whether it is a clean-environment (such as pharmaceutical manufacturer Lonza or Westcode semi-conductors), coping with high-intensity 24-hour shift patterns (such as Huhtamaki) or manufacturing plants designed to build high-value customised products (such as Sunseeker or Rolls Royce cars), Intersafe work closely with Facilities and Operations Managers to plan an efficient testing process. Flexing around key machinery down-times, shift change-overs and complying with special clothing and PPE requirements is all part of the Intersafe service.

Commercial & Retail:

Again, Intersafe’s flexible approach to testing minimizes disruption to the working day. During 2017, Intersafe provided out of hours electrical testing services to Mulberry and Paul Smith – both at the head office and within regional stores.
