The largest provider in West Sussex of work-related further education courses continuously contract Intersafe.

Intersafe has been conducting PAT testing for Northbrook College to ensure all portable appliances across their three campuses are safe and compliant. In any educational establishment, health and safety compliance is key. Northbrook College is the principal provider of work-related further education in an area centred on the south coast town of Worthing. They are also the largest provider in West Sussex of undergraduate courses for the creative and cultural industries. The College additionally has contracts for Apprenticeship training, Adult and Community Learning and provide courses in most work-related areas as well as those for personal development.

“The team are all DBS checked and it gives me peace of mind that they are expert at working with educational establishments. It is also reassuring to know that they are a NICEIC approved contractor and accredited by SAFE, CHAS and ISO plus they have public liability and employer’s liability insurance to £10m. The dedicated Team Leader visited our site before work began and managed the project which meant minimal management input required from us throughout testing, and therefore we could continue with other work.“
Intersafe’s team of highly-qualified electrical testing engineers tested over 13,000 items across the West Durrington’s University Centre for Creative Industries, the Shoreham Airport Campus for Aero and Auto Engineering and the Broadwater 16-19 campus.

Once complete, Intersafe compiled all test results in PATGuard and supplied this to Northbrook College. PATGuard enables easy and efficient asset management. Simon concluded “Intersafe provide a high quality of service from start to finish, the compiled report is excellent and enables me to manage comprehensive records of testing quickly and efficiently.“
