A South Coast hockey team is now dressed to win thanks to a sponsorship deal from Intersafe.

The Bournemouth Under-14 Girls team clinched the backing, which included a smart new kit, after getting through to the national finals.

They proudly wore their Intersafe sponsored gold and black shirts for the play-offs this month and finished fourth in the overall final.

Managing Director Adrian Pendle congratulated the team and said Intersafe was delighted to support the Bournemouth team with a new kit and travel costs.

“Intersafe is proud to be associated with a great sport like hockey as it reflects our values of commitment, friendly team-work and aiming to be the best,” he said.

“For instance, Bournemouth Hockey Club goes up against the bigger clubs in the same way that Intersafe competes with larger electrical compliance companies using smaller resources.”

Adrian is a keen hockey player and coach. In addition to his support for the Bournemouth team,he has given his backing to the national Back to Hockey spring campaign.

More than 200 clubs around Britain will be delivering Back to Hockey sessions for women who haven’t played before or might not have played since school or university.

“It’s a great opportunity for the women of Britain to try their hand a this popular sport, get some exercise and have fun making new friends,” he said.

Bournemouth U14 Girls coach Gavin Rusling thanked Intersafe for its support.

“The sponsorship deal gave the team a great boost,” he said. “The girls wore their shirts with pride and to have the support of Intersafe helped them play brilliantly at the national finals.”
