Intersafe blazes a trail to Fareham
A former Eastleigh-based company has moved down the M27 to Fareham after outgrowing its old premises. Portable appliance testing specialist, Intersafe, has left its offices in the Regus building near Southampton Airport and set up shop in Wickham Road, Fareham, where there is more room for the growing number of staff.
Intersafe, which prides itself on its essential electrical testing expertise, was established in 1995 and carries out electrical testing for top companies such as Motorola, Sony, Bosch, Intel and Honda. It currently employs 14 full-time staff and expects to increase that number this year. Its average year-on-year growth for the last five years is an amazing 20 per cent.
Managing Director, Adrian Pendle, said: "This is the right move at the right time for us. We already have a good client base in the area and we plan to grow the business even more."
Local business, Visiocorp, the world's leading manufacturer of exterior mirrors for the automotive industry is already a satisfied customer. Maintenance Team Leader, Brian Harrison said: "Safety is a top priority in our business and it was important that we employed a company we felt we could trust to do a thorough and professional job. Working with Intersafe has been a pleasure - their attitude is excellent and their service is first-class."
Adrian Pendle said: "As we all know, these are tough times, so to be able to expand is very exciting and shows that our business is working hard. I think we owe it all to the way we look after our existing customers and keep them happy. By doing this, we retain a loyal client base, who in turn recommend us to other companies. We look forward to a long and prosperous future in the town and contributing to its economic success."
